Rental Application
I like to ensure my potential clients are prepared for when it comes time to submit an offer, as it can take a few days to collect all of the necessary documents. Requirements are as follows:
- Fully completed rental application (attached below, you can leave the banking info blank)
- Full Credit Reports, including credit score (Equifax is best, linked here)
- Employment Letters (dated within last 3 months)
- 3 most recent pay stubs
- Self employed individuals: Last 2 years of NOA + any other supporting business/income documentation
- Government issued photo IDs
Disclaimer: The rental market is very hot right now. Vacancy rates are at an all time low. Fraud, within the rental market, is at an all time high and we need to ensure we don't raise any red flags. Some important things to note, in order to be the most successful:
- Everything is going to be submitted electronically
- It is best/most ideal to provide original PDF files instead of scanned copies. Why? Submitting original PDF files can help establish trust with prospective landlords. This ensures the documents are of higher quality and authenticity
- Please electronically fill in the rental application (it is an editable PDF) unless you have impeccable penmanship. It's easier overall for the listing agent/landlord to review this way. Make sure to fill out absolutely everything on the application, so as to not raise any red flags with missing info etc.)
